Cadetship Opportunities
Tourism WA's Cadetship program gives you the opportunity to work in one of the State’s top tourism and hospitality establishments while earning a healthy income.
If you’re studying full-time and want some hands-on experience in your chosen field, as well as the opportunity to work casually during semester breaks, then a tourism and hospitality cadetship is for you!
The program is supported by the Australian Hotels Association (WA) and the Young Australians Tourism Association and is a great way to kick-start your exciting tourism career.

Hospitality Passport
The Hospitality Passport is an innovative new program introduced by the Department of Education and Training. It gives talented apprentice chefs and hospitality trainees a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn and earn in some of the State's top restaurants and hotels.

Universities
Curtin University of Technology- WA's largest university - offers tourism qualifications within the Curtin Business School.
Edith Cowan University has campuses located throughout Perth metropolitan area and in Bunbury providing tourism courses.
Murdoch University offers a flexible approach to learning, with a variety of tourism courses available.
TAFE WA
TAFE WA offers tourism and hospitality training ranging from certificate and diploma courses to apprenticeships and traineeships.
Private Education Providers
The Australian School of Tourism and Hotel Management (ASTHM) is a nationally accredited private educational institution providing certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, and university degree courses.
The Perth Institute offers both short to diploma level courses and are designed to give students the skills and knowledge required to gain a recognised qualification and employment in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
It is now a regulatory requirement to complete a Responsible Service of Alcohol if serving alcohol. The Australian Hotels Association (WA) is one organisation which offers a choice of training courses on the Responsible Service of Alcohol, tailored to suit your needs.
liquID - ID and discount card
In recognition of your training, an industry ID and discount card, liquID, is available exclusively to hospitality employees. liquID certifies your training as well as providing you with access to a wide range of lifestyle discounts.

The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE) profiles more than 100 quality-endorsed courses in tourism, hotel management, events, sports tourism and marketing, and provides information about scholarships and travel grants to facilitate study abroad.
