These programs give you all the support you need to advance your career. And because tourism is such a huge industry sector, there’s a wide array of career paths to explore, from business development and marketing, to life sciences, education and much more.

About Traineeships

The Aboriginal Tourism Traineeships are open to any Indigenous Australian with a keen interest in the tourism industry. As a trainee you will receive pre-employment training and the support of a dedicated mentor.

About Cadetships

The Aboriginal Tourism Cadetships are open to Australian Aboriginals or Torres Strait Islanders who are studying full-time for a diploma, advanced diploma or first undergraduate degree qualification.

As a cadet you will receive professional guidance and mentorship throughout your study and work placement. And on completion of your cadetship, there will be plenty of opportunities for ongoing employment.
